News item text is a type of writing that provides up-to-date information about events that are important to report. News items are divided into two, namely news items delivered in writing (text) and news items delivered orally. When it comes to written or text news items, we usually often find them in newspapers, magazines or tabloids. Meanwhile, we will listen to verbal news items through television, radio, and platforms such as YouTube. News item text aims to provide information to readers or listeners. The purpose of the news item text is to inform readers about the newsworthy events of the day. Usually, news item text will provide information about the latest and factual events. That way, people can always be updated about events in a place.
